Japanese Ambassador Ito Naoki spoke highly of Vietnam’s development vision in the new era. He said Japan wants to further expand cooperation under the Vietnam-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, enabling businesses from both countries to contribute to Vietnam’s modernization and economic growth.
Prime Minister Hung highlighted Japan’s strengths in technology, capital, management expertise, high-quality human resources and, particularly, its business culture that values quality, credibility and long-term partnerships.
He urged Japanese businesses to continue investing in Vietnam and work closely with Vietnamese companies to make better use of cooperation potential between the two economies.
The Prime Minister called for investment ties to evolve from a relationship between “investors and investment destinations” into a partnership for shared development and value creation, with the two sides working together in research, innovation and production, while playing a greater role in global value chains.
He also called for stronger cooperation in science and technology, innovation, digital transformation and high-quality human resource training to build a comprehensive ecosystem, enhance business competitiveness and promote technology transfer.
