Once scarred by the devastation of war, Quang Tri has transformed into a symbol of peace, friendship, and aspirations for development. The transformation stands as a source of pride for the locality and reflects a peace-loving Vietnam that has closed the past and is looking toward the future together with the world.
The opening ceremony was meticulously choreographed, blending state-of-the-art performance technology with creative artistic expression. Structured in three chapters—The Flow of Memory, The Light of Peace, and The World in Harmony—the program celebrated the enduring values of peace while linking the past, present, and future.
A highlight of the ceremony was the Peace Bell Ringing Ritual, a solemn and moving moment that conveyed a shared aspiration for a peaceful, united, and sustainably developing world.
