Visitors can enjoy a wide range of activities, including live demonstrations and tutorials on making traditional folk cakes, reenactments of traditional cake-making crafts, art performances, fashion shows, a folk cake competition, and many other interactive experiences.
“The festival not only preserves the rural spirit embodied in each cake but also spreads traditional cultural values, serving as a bridge between the past and present while bringing the identity of the Mekong Delta closer to visitors,” said Nguyen Thi Ngoc Diep, Vice Chairwoman of the Can Tho People’s Committee.
It also creates opportunities for artisans, producers and businesses to meet, exchange experience, and introduce local specialties as well as OCOP products to consumers, she added.
The festival runs until Friday.
