In Khanh Hoa province, upscale resorts in Bai Dai including the Anam, Alma, and Ana Mandara Cam Ranh reported occupancy of nearly 100%. With its 70,000 rooms, the province's tourism sector basilcaly met tourists' demands. The Po Nagar Cham Towers drew nearly 12,000 visitors.
Lao Cai province welcomed over 500,000 tourists, up nearly 20% year-on-year, generating an estimated 47 million USD. The resort town of Sa Pa alone received more than 182,000 visitors, with large crowds attending the Fansipan Rose Festival.
Beach destinations also saw heavy traffic. Vung Tau recorded over 70,000 visitors per day, while Quang Ninh province attracted about 290,000 visitors on May Day, mostly domestic travelers.
In Da Nang, arrivals rose more than 15% year-on-year, with hotel occupancy at 60–65%, and up to 80% in high-end segments. Total flights reached 1,460 during the period, up 11% from a year earlier.
