In a statement posted on the social media platform X, Afra Al Hameli, Director of the Strategic Communications Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, said the UAE continues to view dialogue, cooperation, and regional integration as the key to peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
Mr. Hameli reaffirmed Abu Dhabi’s commitment to maintaining the integrity of the international financial system by complying with international law and global standards and by supporting measures to safeguard financial stability.
The UAE Defense Ministry said Tuesday that its air defense systems detected two ballistic missiles launched from Iran. One fell into the Persian Gulf outside the UAE’s territorial waters, and the other fell within its waters. A subsequent assessment found that both missiles were aimed at maritime targets. There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
