Speaking to reporters, Vance said the US was confident it had the situation under control despite the complex developments unfolding in the region.
He said Washington would continue monitoring the situation to safeguard US interests and maintain regular contact with the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, and other parties affected by the conflict.
The statement comes as fighting between Yemeni government forces and the Houthis has intensified. The group has also launched attacks targeting energy facilities in Saudi Arabia.
According to the International Organization for Migration, fighting in Yemen in recent weeks has forced nearly 94,000 people to flee their homes.
