In an interview with Fox News on Tuesday, President Trump said unless Tehran agrees to negotiate, the US will expand its military strikes next week targeting power plants and bridges across Iran.
“We’re going to hit them very hard tonight, we’re going to hit them very hard tomorrow night, we’re going to hit them very hard the night after, and then next week it gets really bad for them,” Trump said. “Because next week comes the power plants, next week comes the bridges.”
He also said attacks on Iran will continue until he decides to stop them. The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced Tuesday that it had launched airstrikes on “dozens of military targets near the Strait of Hormuz and Iranian coastal areas.”
