The three-day event is a concrete step toward implementing the Politburo's Resolution No. 57 on breakthrough development in science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation, as well as the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 21 on Strategic Technologies, under which robotics and automation are identified among Vietnam’s 10 priority strategic technology groups.

Held every two years, this year's event is themed "Smart Automation – Strategic Technology of the Digital Era". It features an international scientific conference, a business forum, and an exhibition showcasing advanced technologies and products.

The international scientific conference is a prestigious forum for researchers and experts from around the world to exchange the latest findings and technological advances.

At the business forum, domestic and international experts are discussing smart technologies and innovation across key economic sectors, the development of a "Make in Vietnam" robotics and drone ecosystem, renewable energy, human resource development, and the green transition in the Central and Central Highlands regions.

The accompanying technology exhibition highlights cutting-edge automation solutions and products developed by leading enterprises, research institutes, and educational institutions.
