Both countries will encourage businesses to invest more actively in each other’s markets, particularly in high-tech and high-value-added sectors, while strengthening Vietnam’s supplier networks. They also agreed to facilitate access to the EU and ASEAN markets, including for green technologies, environmentally friendly practices and products, enabling businesses to integrate more effectively into global supply chains and value chains.
The two sides welcomed the effective implementation of the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement and called on the remaining EU member states to ratify the EU-Vietnam Investment Protection Agreement, helping to further promote bilateral trade and investment.
They will explore cooperation in maritime, air, road and rail transport, improve transport and logistics connectivity, and encourage airlines to establish direct routes between Vietnam and Denmark, as well as other convenient destinations in Northern Europe.
The two countries also reaffirmed their commitment to strategic cooperation in healthcare and agreed to strengthen education and workforce training, including technical and vocational education and training.
