During the meeting, the Vietnamese top leader called on Hayleys to promote trade activities and work toward building sustainable connectivity channels, serving as a bridge to help Vietnamese enterprises access Sri Lanka’s distribution networks, logistics systems and customer markets.
He encouraged the conglomerate to continue exploring investment opportunities in sectors aligned with both its strengths and Vietnam’s development needs, including aviation connectivity, tourism and logistics, as well as value-chain development in agriculture, industrial materials and deep processing industries.
The Vietnamese leader also welcomed the company’s proposal to expand cooperation in agriculture and processing, including the development of coconut value chains and processed coconut products.
