At the Vietnam-Poland Business Roundtable, which he co-chaired with visiting Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk in Hanoi, Prime Minister Hung highlighted the special significance of the roundtable, which took place shortly after the decision to elevate bilateral relations to a Strategic Partnership.

“This serves as an opportunity for the parties to connect directly and exchange information, with the aim of unlocking the potential within new sectors characterized by high scientific-technological content and significant value-added. Vietnam strongly encourages Polish enterprises to explore opportunities and enhance cooperation and investment in Vietnam—particularly in sectors where Poland excels and which align with Vietnam’s sustainable development goals—such as renewable energy, smart agriculture, digital transformation, railways, shipbuilding, and environmental protection, with a focus on technology transfer and sustainable development,” Mr. Hung said.

The Prime Minister called for the refinement of policies and the simplification of procedures related to investment, immigration, and customs. He also suggested that both sides explore the diversification of transport networks, including the early consideration of options for an Asia-Europe rail link.

Mr. Hung reaffirmed the Vietnamese Government’s commitment to supporting Polish investors, ensuring the most favorable conditions for stable, sustainable, and long-term business operations.

For his part, Prime Minister Tusk identified three strategic areas for cooperation, which are industry, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals and expressed a desire to expand joint production ventures and technology transfer.

The Polish leader also proposed strengthening collaboration in manufacturing, training, and the provision of unmanned systems, electronics, and optoelectronics for both security and civilian applications. Furthermore, he advocated for joint research on earth-observation satellites and data analysis to support agriculture, resource management, and environmental protection, as well as the commercialization of these products on the international market
