During his State visit to Australia, the Vietnamese top leader met with Craig Bradshaw, CEO of EQ Resources Limited, and Malcolm Turnbull AC, Chairman of Advanced Navigation and Australia’s 29th Prime Minister.

Speaking with Bradshaw, Mr. Lam said Vietnam wants to work with EQ Resources to develop strategic mineral supply chains, promote deeper mineral processing, and expand cooperation in high-tech materials.

He stressed that cooperation should go beyond the supply of raw materials and gradually develop into an industrial ecosystem centered on high-tech materials, creating greater added value for both countries.

Bradshaw praised Vietnam’s mineral potential and expressed his company’s interest in expanding investment.

He also said Vietnam should continue improving its institutional framework to attract long-term foreign investment and promote the development of higher-value products.

During his meeting with Malcolm Turnbull, the Vietnamese leader highlighted the potential of Advanced Navigation’s navigation and positioning technologies for Vietnam’s priority areas of cooperation with Australia, particularly science and technology and the marine and ocean sectors.

Vietnam is ready to facilitate cooperation between the company and Vietnamese partners, promote technology transfer and help turn research results into practical products and applications, he said.
