During a recent visit to the US, Mr. Giang met with US officials, including Under Secretary of State Thomas DiNanno and Deputy National Security Adviser Andrew Baker, and held working sessions with the US-ASEAN Business Council and the Heritage Foundation.

He proposed that the two sides coordinate closely in implementing high-level agreements and tap further potential for cooperation in economics, trade, investment, science and technology, energy, and emerging fields, while continuing efforts to address war legacies.

US partners reaffirmed their appreciation of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership with Vietnam, and expressed optimism about its future prospects. They highlighted significant potential for cooperation in trade, investment, science and technology, energy, and emerging industries.

US business representatives expressed confidence in Vietnam’s market prospects and pledged to continue promoting cooperative projects and expanding investment in the country.
