Vietnam finished among the top 7 teams at the tournament, marking its best-ever performance at the International Physics Olympiad and demonstrated Vietnamese students' capabilities.
The International Physics Olympiad is one of the world's most academically demanding international science competitions for secondary school students.
This year's Olympiad was held in Bucaramanga, Colombia, from July 4 to 12, 2026 with 381 students from 85 countries and territories competing.
