In his remarks, Vu Duy Hien, Deputy Secretary-General and Chief of the NCA Office said the NCA consistently views international cooperation as one of its key directions in promoting knowledge-sharing, experience exchange and technology connectivity as cybersecurity challenges become increasingly cross-border in nature.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on global cybersecurity trends, the impact of new international regulations and priority areas that could bolster cooperation in the coming period. The NCA proposed strengthening its strategic partnership with AIT through several priority areas, including the protection of critical digital infrastructure; data security and the development of a trusted digital ecosystem; the application of AI and data analytics in cybersecurity; training of high-quality human resources; and stronger expert exchanges and coordination in organizing annual international forums and conferences.
The meeting was seen as an important follow-up to the Austria–Vietnam Cybersecurity Forum 2026, helping deepen bilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Austria in cybersecurity and digital technology while opening up further opportunities for practical cooperation among agencies, organizations and businesses from both countries.
