During their relief operations in Playa Grande, La Guaira state, the team identified the locations of the victims before carrying out the recovery effort. The Vietnamese rescuers also established an emergency medical station, where they have provided treatment to 26 locals.

In the last two days, the Vietnamese team has handed over relief supplies to Venezuela, including 35 tons of emergency rations, 60 medical kits, 2 tons of canned meat, four generators, 500 tents, 10 field shelters, and 50,000 rolls of medical bandages.

Vietnam is one of 30 countries that have dispatched rescue teams to Venezuela to support disaster relief operations there.
