Mr. Lam expressed his admiration for the works’ rich artistic, cultural and historical value and praised the way contemporary art contributes to promoting New Zealand’s heritage, cultural identity and natural values. He stressed that culture and the arts are important means for peoples of different countries to enhance mutual understanding and strengthen bonds.
He noted that Vietnam and New Zealand both have rich and distinctive cultural identities and great potential to expand cultural and artistic exchanges and cooperation, thereby strengthening the social foundation and people-to-people ties within the framework of their bilateral Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
