The visit is expected to contribute to improving the quality and effectiveness of Vietnam-South Korea relations, particularly in trade, investment and economic cooperation. It will also help generate new momentum in cooperation in science and technology, innovation and strategic technologies, and further promote parliamentary diplomacy as an important pillar of bilateral ties.

During the visit, NA President Tran Thanh Man is scheduled to hold talks and meetings with senior South Korean leaders. He will also meet with the leaders of the Democratic Party of Korea and the People Power Party, the Chairman of the Korea-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Group, and CEOs of Samsung Electronics, LG Innotek, SK Group and Lotte Group.
