At a press conference in Geneva, WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said the total number of cases remains unchanged at 13, including 3 deaths.

Everyone who may have been exposed to the virus aboard the MV Hondius completed their 42-day monitoring period on June 21. All but 54 contacts have completed their quarantine period, and the remaining individuals are scheduled to finish their isolation by July 2.

Tedros said, “If no further cases are reported by then, the WHO will consider the outbreak to be over.”
