The Yemeni military is stepping up its use of drones to expand its reconnaissance, surveillance, intelligence gathering, and target identification capabilities, and support combats, a senior official from the Yemeni Air Defense and Air Force Academy said.

On Thursday, the Houthis said they attacked an Aramco ‌refinery in Saudi Arabia's port city of Jizan with two drones.

Fighting between the Yemeni military and the Houthis has intensified over the past month, raising concerns that the conflict in Yemen could flare up again following a UN-brokered ceasefire agreement reached in 2022.
