Venerable Thich Le Tan builds bridges for farmers

(VOVworld) – Venerable Thich Le Tan of Giac Hoa pagoda in Hau Thanh Dong commune, Long An province, has been involved in charity and social programs for 10 years. He has raised hundreds of thousands of USD to build rural transport facilities and support poor people. Ly Sin Sinh, who is of Mong ethnicity, has donated 300 square meters of his land to build a school for local children. Nguyen Van Thach, pioneer in treating spinal injuries

(VOVworld) – Associate Professor Nguyen Van Thach is head of the Spinal Surgery Department and Deputy Director of the Viet Duc Hospital in Hanoi. He was the first person to successfully perform robot-assisted spinal surgery in Southeast Asia. He was among the individuals honored at the 11th Glory Vietnam program.

War veteran Tran Van Xuat’s memories of Truong Sa
