(VOVWORLD) - Many sea dyke areas in the Mekong Delta province of Soc Trang have been severely impacted by climate change, threatening the means of subsistence of coastal residents. Local authorities have pushed afforestation in addition to repairing and upgrading the local sea dyke system.
