The event was held in the hybrid format, connecting 51 locations across the country and attracting more than 20,000 workers.

The campaign aims to foster innovation, improve productivity and raise workers’ incomes, thereby contributing to socio-economic development goals, including achieving economic growth of more than 10 percent.

Addressing the ceremony, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan said labor productivity grew an average of 5.3 percent annually during the 2021–2025 period. However, Vietnam still lags behind several countries in the region.

She emphasized that developing a modern workforce equipped with knowledge, skills, industrial discipline and a strong commitment to national development is a strategic task in the new era.

According to the Vice President, the campaign should contribute to building a strong and modern Vietnamese working class capable of serving as a pioneering force in the country’s industrialization and modernization process.

She also called for stronger promotion of innovation, scientific and technological applications, and digital transformation in production and labor activities.

At the event, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour awarded Creative Labour Certificates to outstanding workers in recognition of their innovation, expertise and contributions in the new era.
