The National Legal Database (new version) has been comprehensively restructured, with data managed in detail down to each article, clause, and point. Notably, all data is now standardized in line with the common language used by advanced legal systems worldwide. This transformation allows the system to function as a repository and also as an integrated platform capable of connecting with other digital systems. As a result, legal texts are converted into “structured data,” enabling machines to read, understand, and process information automatically.
A key highlight is the wide application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for the first time. AI supports data editing and quality assurance, ensuring the database meets the standards of “Accurate – Complete – Clean – Live,” while also optimizing and improving the efficiency and precision of data exploitation and use.
In the coming period, the National Legal Database is envisioned as a leading digital legal knowledge platform, built on five strategic pillars. These include promoting AI applications in legal analysis and early warning, forming a national legal big data platform, and developing a digital legal knowledge ecosystem serving society as a whole.
