Titled “Vietnam’s Hoang Sa and Truong Sa – Historical and Legal Evidence,” the exhibition was held from eptember 25 to 27 at Duy Tan High School in Binh Kien Ward, and is taking place from October 2 to 4 at Nguyen Chi Thanh Secondary School in Hoa Xuan Commune.
Nguyen Quoc Hiep, Deputy Director of the Dak Lak Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said the exhibition aims to foster patriotism and raise awareness of the importance of Vietnam's seas and islands, maritime strategy, and the maritime economy.
"It also seeks to strengthen the sense of responsibility among local authorities, the public, and younger generations, especially teachers and students, toward protecting the nation’s maritime sovereignty and contributing to the building and defense of the Fatherland,” Hiep added.
Nguyen Do Phuc Nguyen, a student at Duy Tan High School in Binh Kien Ward, said said he was honored that his school was chosen to host the exhibition.
"As an 11th-grade student, I’m fully aware of Vietnam’s sovereignty over its seas and islands. The Paracel and Spratly archipelagos belong to Vietnam. I will work hard in my studies so that, in the future, I can contribute to safeguarding the nation’s territorial sovereignty,” said Nguyen.
