The free trade zone will comprise manufacturing, seaport and logistics operations, a logistics center, commercial and service zone, and other designated areas.
The project is designed to operate under a competitive institutional framework and provide a trade and investment environment that meets international standards. It aims to become a hub for green manufacturing, producing high-value exports through the adoption of advanced, environmentally friendly technologies.
Once completed, the free trade zone will strengthen connections between Ho Chi Minh City's manufacturing, trade, and service sectors and global markets. It is expected to play a strategic role in advancing the city's ambition to become a leading maritime economic hub in Southeast Asia.
