The average hotel occupancy rate reached 86%, while total tourism revenue was estimated at more than 80 million USD. Of the 1.25 million visitors, nearly 360,000 stayed overnight, including 100,000 foreign and 260,000 Vietnamese tourists.

The surge in visitor numbers was attributed to businesses’ proactive preparations, including upgrading facilities, increasing staffing, new tourism products, and a wide range of recreational and entertainment activities. Tourist attractions and accommodation facilities also improved their services while taking measures to ensure safety and security for visitors.

Nguyen Quang Thang, Vice Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Tourism Association, said: “The Khanh Hoa Tourism Association has actively responded to the directives of the Provincial People’s Committee and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on welcoming and serving visitors. Our members have worked diligently to ensure that tour itineraries, facilities, and staffing were fully prepared for this major national holiday.”

Throughout the holiday, various cultural and artistic programs were held in Nha Trang and at tourist attractions across the province.

On September 1, a special artistic program celebrating the 81st anniversary of National Day was held at 16/4 Square in Dong Hai ward.

The following day, an international artistic program, part of the Miss World 2026 pageant, took place at 2/4 Square in Nha Trang ward. The event brought together 111 representatives from countries and territories around the world, helping showcase Khanh Hoa’s tourism and cultural image to an international audience.
