On display are 160 photos and documents, reflecting on the history and development of the Vietnam People's Navy and its mission to safeguard the Fatherland.
They depict an elite, modern revolutionary naval force with enhanced combat capabilities and the ability to protect Vietnam's sovereignty over its seas and islands in the new situation, as well as naval soldiers' everyday moments, and love for their homeland.
A highlight of the exhibition is a collection of documents and photographs depicting the heroic sacrifice of martyr Vu Quang Chuong, Hero of the People's Armed Forces and former commander of the Phuc Nguyen 2A (DK1/6) platform.
The exhibition is held in collaboration with the Naval Region 2 Command and the HCMC Photographic Association.
It is opening to the public until September 26.
