The meeting evaluated the results after 8 years of implementing the Resolution, identified limitations, shortcomings and their causes, and proposed major orientations for marine economic development.
Opinions agreed on the need to strengthen the Party's leadership; improve the state management; focus all resources on marine economic development; develop science and technology, innovation and digital transformation; and train high-quality human resources.
Proposals were made to research and amend the legal system; develop the marine economy, protect national defense and security in the context of Vietnam's expansion of its administrative boundaries.
