(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has asked China to honor the Agreement on the delimitation of the territorial sea, exclusive economic zones and continental shelf between the two countries in the Tonkin Gulf signed in 2000 and the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), said Vietnam’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman, in response to a question regarding China’s announcement of new demarcations of a baseline in the Tonkin Gulf.
