In Quang Ngai, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Gau, Deputy Minister of National Defense and Deputy Head of Steering Committee 515, urged local authorities to intensify efforts to search for, recover and identify martyrs' remains.

Mr. Gau siad: “Quang Ngai province must continue collecting, reviewing, verifying and thoroughly assessing every source of information, with priority given to areas believed to contain large numbers of martyrs' remains and sites where collective graves have already been identified. The province should strive to fulfill the search and recovery targets assigned by the Military Region."

"So far, information provided by local residents and other sources has identified six locations suspected of containing martyrs' remains. I urge the provincial Steering Committee and all relevant forces to act without delay, carefully compile, cross-check and verify all available information so that search and recovery operations can be carried out as effectively as possible,” said Mr. Gau.

In Ninh Binh, Lieutenant General Luong Van Kiem, Commander of Military Region 3, reviewed the campaign's implementation, inspected DNA sampling activities at martyrs' cemeteries, paid tribute to fallen soldiers, and visited teams carrying out the identification work.

On the same day, military forces in Da Nang recovered the remains of five martyrs at Da Sap Cave in Ha Nha commune. A memorial and reburial ceremony is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at Dai Dong Martyrs' Cemetery. Meanwhile, authorities in Cao Bang province also recovered the remains of martyr Ma Van Gi in Minh Tam commune.
