(VOVWORLD) - 80 landscape paintings of different styles, materials, and colors are on display at the exhibition “Our country” to mark the 78th anniversary of Vietnam’s August Revolution and National Day. The exhibition, combining conventional methods of displaying artworks with the Motion Graphic technique, gives the public a new way to enjoy art works.

Those heritages are likely to permanently disappear if no prompt actions are taken.

(VOVWORLD) - Musical instruments like the drum, the flute, and stringed instruments have long been an integral part of festivals in Vietnam. Concerned that traditional musical instruments might disappear, artisans in Phu Xuyen district, Hanoi, are preserving and promoting the performance of "Bat am" (eight musical instruments).

(VOVWORLD) - The thematic exhibition entitled “Green Sprouts on the Rocks” is open at the Hoa Lo Prison Relic Site in Hanoi to mark the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27). (VOVWORLD) - Don Ca Tai Tu (amateur music) from southern Vietnam was officially recognized by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2013. The Mekong Delta province of Dong Thap has made its greatest effort to preserve and promote this music genre as a tourism product.

In a remote village in Lam Dong province, patriarch K’Tieu is making his best efforts to teach younger generations to play the gong as a way to preserve this intangible heritage.
