At the heart of the project is a 20,000-seat outdoor stage and grandstand overlooking the Han River and the DIFF performance area.

Equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, the venue will host not only the annual fireworks festival but also international concerts, cultural festivals, exhibitions, conferences and major tourism events.

The project also includes a 47-storey tower featuring a hotel, serviced apartments, a shopping center, restaurants, a ballroom, and premium amenities.

Inspired by the flowing Han River and the image of the moon, the building's design centers on a 69-meter-diameter circular structure facing the 69-storey Da Nang Downtown tower, embodying the architectural concept of "The Moon Meets the Sun on the River of Light."

The structure is expected to become a new architectural icon that enhances the global profile of DIFF, which has been named one of the world's Top 9 festivals.

Chairman of Sun Group Dang Minh Truong said the Sun Galaxy Complex will inject new vitality into the Han River waterfront and create long-term value for tourism, commerce, services, and real estate.

Mr. Truong said: "If DIFF represents the culmination of Da Nang's aspirations and international integration, then Sun Galaxy Complex is its physical embodiment—a permanent home where DIFF can continue to grow and a launchpad for the festival to evolve into a national cultural brand. It will be far more than a venue for fireworks displays. It’s a multi-functional complex capable of hosting major concerts, artistic performances, exhibitions, conferences and large-scale tourism events."

Nguyen Manh Hung, Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee, said: "This project will create a new growth pole on the Han River, connecting cultural, commercial, service, and tourism spaces and strengthening Da Nang's position as a destination for international festivals, events, and world-class experiences."

Scheduled for completion in 36 months, the complex will generate greater urban value and enhance the competitiveness of the local tourism industry.
