(VOVWORLD) - The Voice of Vietnam was established on September 7, 1945, and broadcast its first overseas programs in Vietnamese, English, and French. Since then the voice of the Vietnamese people and an independent Vietnam who aspire to peace and freedom has been constantly broadcast to people nationwide and worldwide. The broadcaster has steadily innovated and developed to accompany the nation through arduous, challenging but triumphant historical periods.

(VOVWORLD) - On September 5, 1962, Vietnam and Laos officially established diplomatic relations, marking an important milestone in the development of bilateral ties. Over the past 60 years, solidarity, cooperation, and mutual assistance have characterize the relationship between the two parties, countries, and peoples.

(VOVWORLD) -On September 2, 1945, at Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam (now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam). The Declaration shows the Vietnamese people's aspiration for peace, freedom, and independence, which has guided them to fight for national reunification and development.

(VOVWORLD) - Independence - Freedom - Happiness are the highest human rights, according to the United Nations Charter and the International Covenant on Human Rights. But those rights can only be exercised in an independent country. Because of those noble values, throughout history, progressive mankind, including the Vietnamese people, have not hesitated to sacrifice and struggle to gain independence, freedom and happiness. Since the National Day of September 2, 1945, the Party, State and people of Vietnam have always been steadfast toward this noble goal.

(VOVWORLD) - The General Statistics Office reports that Vietnam’s economy in the first eight months of this year has gradually regained the growth rate it enjoyed before the pandemic. Economic growth has been strong in industrial production and export and import, and inflation is under control.

(VOVWORLD) - With the advantages of land, natural resources, natural scenery, and diligent people, the northwest provinces are attracting investors. The local authorities are aggressively improving the investment environment.

(VOVWORLD) - Recent clashes between rival factions in Libya have pushed the North African country deeper into a political-security crisis that began during the 2011 Arab Spring. The UN and international organizations have called for urgent action to prevent violence from spreading and destabilizing the region.

(VOVWORLD) - Seafood is VN’s key economic sector with high export value. From the beginning of the year to July, seafood exports earned high revenues and are heading toward a new record.

(VOVWORLD) - On August 28, 1945, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was established with the birth of the Provisional Government of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, led by President Ho Chi Minh as Provisional Government Chairman and Foreign Minister. During the past 77 years, with the Party upholding Vietnam’s friendly but indomitable diplomacy and Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic thought, Vietnamese diplomacy has developed comprehensively and firmly making an important contribution to Vietnam’s revolutionary cause.

(VOVWORLD) -After a year and a half of negotiations (since April 2021), the parties to the 2015 Iran nuclear deal have narrowed their disagreements, broadening the prospect of finally clinching a new version of the deal. But the sticking points that remain will require additional goodwill from the stakeholders.
