(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has made much progress in 2021 in building e-government from issuing strategic policies to simplifying administrative procedures. These accomplishments are important steps toward building a digital government.

(VOVWORLD) - After a long shutdown due to COVID-19, Vietnam has started receiving foreign tourists at several key tourist destinations since the end of November. To attract foreign visitors, the National Administration of Tourism has launched a communication campaign called "Live fully in Vietnam". A full reopening is expected in 2022.

(VOVWORLD) - Despite the severe impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, the global economy in 2021 has avoided a recession and has rapidly rebounded to resume its growth. However, the emergence of new coronavirus variants like Delta and Omicron and consequences of the pandemic like supply chain disruptions and inflation are keeping the global economic recovery unstable and inconsistent.
