(VOVWORLD) - Typhoon Lionrock has landed in provinces from Hai Phong to Nam Dinh and weakened into a tropical low pressure. After Lionrock, another typhoon named Kompasu is approaching the East Sea. These storms are causing heavy rains in the northern and north-central regions. The Prime Minister has sent an urgent telegraph asking localities to brace for the storms.

At Thursday’s closing session of the three-and-a-half-day 4th plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee, Party leader Trong said the plenum renewed the determination to strengthen Party building and rectification in line with the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
