(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam is fighting some new enemies, who are invisible, elusive, and dangerous. The new SARS-Cov2 coronavirus and its allies, fear and uncertainty, are making people anxious and mistrustful. But whoever the enemies may be, the Vietnamese people are confident they will ultimately defeat them.

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam has implemented R&D and applied advanced technologies in the fight against the new coronavirus.

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam is striving to battle the Covid-19 pandemic while attaining socio-economic growth targets. The authority and enterprises have worked to increase exports and stabilize the domestic market to sustain GDP this year.

(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam People’s Army, together with the whole political system and people of Vietnam, are combating the Covid-19 epidemic. The army has worked with localities to run the quarantine system.

(VOVWORLD) - Turkey has opened its border with Greece, an EU member state, to allow thousands of refugees and migrants to head to Europe. The migration creates concern of a new humanitarian crisis, which may be worse than that in 2015, because Europe is currently struggling with the Covid-19 pandemic.

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnamese experts have created a set of mobile disinfection chambers serving people in coronavirus infected areas. It takes 15 to 20 seconds to “clean” the whole body.

(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnamese government has received the enthusiastic support of businesses, social organizations, and individuals at home and abroad in the fight against Covid-19 over the past two months. As a result, the epidemic remains under control in Vietnam and most of those infected have fully recovered or show signs of recovering.

(VOVWORLD) - The fight against the Covid-19 pandemic in Vietnam has been fully supported by the public. Many hotels have volunteered to serve as quarantine areas. Many people have donated money to efforts to curb the disease. Thousands of free facemasks have been handed out. These good deeds are being multiplied throughout Vietnam.

(VOVWORLD) - Since it joined the Francophone Community in the 1970s, Vietnam has contributed to the development of the organization as an active member. This month French-speaking people around the world and in Vietnam are celebrating the annual Francophone Festival.
