(VOVWORLD) - Chu Dong Tu-Tien Dung, the Love Festival, is a famous festival in Hung Yen province and one of the 16 biggest festivals in Vietnam. The festival is dedicated to the legend of Chu Dong Tu, a poor fisherman, and Princess Tien Dung, a daughter of the 18th Hung King (408-258 BC). This year the festival is recognized as a National Intangible Cultural Heritage.

(VOVWORLD) - The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) recognized the Ha Long Bay‑Cat Ba Archipelago as a World Natural Heritage site at the 45th expanded session of the World Heritage Committee, held in the capital Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on September 16th. The Ha Long Bay‑Cat Ba Archipelago is Vietnam’s first inter-provincial UNESCO-listed world heritage site, which is expected to open up many opportunities for its development and preservation.
