(VOVWORLD) - On November 27, 1961, the first oil and gas organization in Vietnam, the Oil Exploration Brigade, was established. Over more than six decades with numerous ups and downs, generations of oil and gas workers have exerted efforts and determination to fulfill President Ho Chi Minh's aspiration to "develop a strong oil and gas industry." Today, the Vietnam oil and gas industry, led by the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam), has made significant strides, becoming the "driving force" of Vietnam's economy.

Despite falling oil prices, Petrovietnam’s revenue peaks in October

(VOVWORLD) - The Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (Petrovietnam) recorded the highest revenue in October as compared to other months since the beginning of the year, helping the group operate in the black and accomplish assigned financial targets in 2023 to mid-November. This was confirmed by General Director of Petrovietnam Le Manh Hung during a regular briefing in November with leaders of the Group's member units the review the production and business activities in October, the first 10 months of the year and plans for the rest of the year.

Last year, Vietnam earned 2.4 billion USD from exporting tra fish to 140 markets. To adapt to climate change and reduce emissions in tra fish production, the Mekong Delta is moving toward a circular economy model by applying technical advances in processing, preserving and transportation to improve its sustainable economic value.
