Ho Chi Minh cultural space built in Cao Bang

(VOVWORLD) - To mark the 85th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s return to Vietnam on January 28, 1941, to lead Vietnam’s revolution, Cao Bang province has built a Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space in Truong Ha commune. The space will be expanded across the province to promote Ho Chi Minh’s legacy.

Building the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space in Cao Bang province is considered a political and socio-cultural approach to turning Ho Chi Minh’s thought, ethics, and style into a living, working, and educational environment. Cao Bang province aims to spread Ho Chi Minh’s legacy throughout the community, especially to the younger generations.

Duong Mac Kien, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the People’s Council of Truong Ha commune, said: “Truong Ha is the cradle of the revolution, where President Ho Chi Minh returned to his homeland after 30 years abroad seeking a path to national salvation. The cultural space turns history into lively, easy-to-remember lessons. The Cultural Space inspires and nurtures the cultural and moral values of Vietnam and Cao Bang which formed the enduring strength of the Vietnamese revolution.”

Cao Bang province plans to develop the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space in close collaboration with ethnic communities in Truong Ha commune, then gradually expand it to other localities. The model is adapted to the history, culture, and geography of the Pac Bo area and border marker 108, where President Ho Chi Minh returned to the homeland 85 years ago.

Nguyen Quoc Trung, Director of the Cao Bang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: “Expanding the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space in Cao Bang will educate people to Vietnam’s history and President Ho Chi Minh’s great sacrifices for the Vietnamese revolution, thereby strengthening the ideology of young people. We will develop “red tourism” routes, develop tourism products linked to revolutionary sites, boost local socio-economic development, create jobs, and promote the historical heritage of Cao Bang.”

The Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space in Cao Bang will connect heritages, highlight traditions, and spread Ho Chi Minh’s values to ethnic communities in northern Vietnam.

A highlight of the cultural space is the use of digital technology to recreate historical events, including 3D models of figures, costumes, and settings, virtual guides, and virtual maps of President Ho Chi Minh’s journey to save the nation.
