(VOVWORLD) - A mega concert will be held in Quang Ninh province on Sunday as part of the province’s celebration of the 14th National Party Congress. The event promises to be a creative space for art, inspiring pride, and a desire to make contribution.

The concert is the most anticipated among the 18 activities planned to celebrate the 14th National Party Congress, the Communist Party of Vietnam’s founding anniversary on February 3 and Lunar New Year in Quang Ninh. It will be held at October 30 Square in Hạ Long ward, is expected to last 2 hours, and could draw an audience of up to 50,000 people.
The concert will feature prominent singers and artists, including Meritorious Artist Dang Duong, My Tam, Tung Duong, Duc Phuc, and Dong Hung, alongside well-known performers from Quang Ninh and a thousand non-professional performers, including students and members of the armed forces. Songs praising the Party, President Ho Chi Minh, the homeland, and the achievements of Quang Ninh province will be featured in the program.
Do Trong Dat, Deputy Director of the Quang Ninh provincial Arts Theater, said: “This concert is part of a program to welcome the success of the Party Congress and Lunar New Year. The highlight will be the celebration of the Party Congress, praising the Party and the nation. The concert, which will include a fireworks display, is expected to draw a large audience.”

Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy, Deputy Director of the Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said free tickets will be distributed through travel agencies and online channels.
Thuy said: “In 2025, Quang Ninh's concerts to celebrate major commemorative occasions generated a strong public response. In 2026, we’ll continue to invite artists, singers, and companies to join us in creating distinctive cultural and tourism products that shape the province’s brand.”
For the first time, Quang Ninh province will launch a floral boulevard combined with light technology beside world-famous Ha Long Bay. The boulevard will consist of two zones – one along the Ha Long Flower Park route in Hong Gai ward, and the other around October 30 Square and the provincial museum-library complex in Hạ Long ward. There will be floral displays, mascot models, artistic lettering installations, and multi-colored LED arches. The Floral and Light-Technology Boulevard will offer residents and visitors a festive experience from February 14 to February 22.
