Vietnam's 14th National Party Congress concludes successfully

(VOVWORLD) - The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam concluded successfully on the afternoon of January 23 after five days of work at the National Convention Center in Hanoi, closing in a solemn and responsible atmosphere filled with confidence and hope for the country’s future.

 The Congress marks a significant milestone in Vietnam’s development, opening a new era in which the country is determined to realize the two centennial goals of becoming a developing country with modern industry and upper-middle income by 2030 to celebrate 100 years of the Communist Party of Vietnam, and a high-income developed economy by 2045 to mark 100 years of the founding of Vietnam; for a peaceful, independent, democratic, prosperous, civilized and happy Vietnam on a firm path toward socialism. |
