14th National Party Congress marks moment for Vietnam to demonstrate growing international role
(VOVWORLD) - The 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam opens a new era of development for the country and marks an opportunity for Vietnam to demonstrate its increasingly prominent role on the international stage, according to Obuchi Yuko, Chair of the Japan-Vietnam Parliamentary Friendship Alliance.

She said that since the launch of the renewal policy, the Party has consistently played a leading role in Vietnam’s dynamic development process. Obuchi highly valued the country’s ongoing reform efforts and expressed confidence that as Vietnam enters a “new era,” the Party will continue to guide national development while making positive contributions to global peace and stability.
She underscored the importance of maintaining close dialogue and cooperation between the Communist Party of Vietnam and Japan’s Liberal Democratic Party (LDP), viewing this as a key factor not only in strengthening Vietnam-Japan relations but also in promoting peace, stability, and development in the region and the world amid global uncertainty.
