The Congress demonstrated a clear, practical, and historically significant strategic vision in establishing a new development model based on science, innovation, and digital transformation, while remaining steadfast in its socialist orientation, according to Professor G. Devarajan. He added that Vietnam's focus on people in development, linking economic growth with social progress, and leveraging modern technology for national interests shows a mature and confident approach, helping Vietnam avoid the trap of financial and technological dependence.

The Indian scholar particularly appreciated the fact that the 14th National Party Congress placed environmental protection on par with economic and social development, which he said is the foundation for Vietnam to achieve its goals by 2030 and its vision to 2045.

In addition, Professor G. Devarajan considered the enhancement of Vietnam's foreign policy role and international integration as a reflection of its more prominent position. He also highlighted the 14th Congress's reaffirmation of the central role of culture and people in development, considering them core resources of soft power, social cohesion, and national identity.

Professor G. Devarajan said he believes that the objectives outlined in the draft documents of the 14th Congress are realistic and feasible, as they are based on the achievements of the Doi Moi (Renewal) process and accurately reflect current domestic and international challenges.
