The Egyptian Red Crescent dispatched 6,700 tons of humanitarian assistance on Sunday, including food parcels, fuel, and winter relief items as part of its “Zad Al-Izza: From Egypt to Gaza” convoy.
Egypt has played a leading role in humanitarian relief efforts for the Gaza Strip over the past two years. In coordination with other parties, Egypt has delivered approximately 800,000 tons, 70% of all international aid for Gaza.
