Delegates, local residents, and visitors offered flowers and incense in tribute to the heroes, generals, and soldiers of the late 18th-century Tay Son movement, particularly Emperor Quang Trung (Nguyen Hue), who led the uprising from a peasant revolt into a historic national liberation movement.
Nguyen Tuan Thanh, Vice Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People’s Committee, said, “With new hope and spirit, Gia Lai Province calls on residents, officials, soldiers and the business community to unite, seize opportunities, overcome challenges, fulfill socio-economic development goals, successfully host the National Tourism Year 2026, and work together to build a prosperous, civilized and sustainable province.”
