The draft, once finalized by his superiors, will be delivered to US president's special envoy Steve Witkoff, he said. On Thursday, President Trump gave Iran a deadline of 10 to 15 days to reach an agreement on its nuclear program, warning that otherwise “really bad things” will happen.

On Friday, the Iranian foreign minister held separate phone conversations with his counterparts in Egypt and Russia regarding the latest developments in the indirect nuclear negotiations between Tehran and Washington.

In his call with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, the diplomats engaged in a discussion regarding the ongoing developments surrounding Iran's nuclear program, particularly the results of the Geneva talks between Washington and Tehran. Lavrov reiterated Russia’s support for a diplomatic process aimed at achieving equitable political solutions that uphold Iran's legitimate rights, in accordance with the principles of the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT).
