US warns of limited military strike on Iran
(VOVWORLD) - President Donald Trump said Friday that he is considering limited military strikes to pressure Iran over its nuclear program as the two countries continue negotiations over Tehran’s nuclear program.

Speaking to the press, President Trump warned of consequences for Iran if they don't make a "very fair deal."
According to international media reports, the USS Gerald R. Ford aircraft carrier entered the Mediterranean Sea on Friday, further boosting American firepower in a region that has seen a massive military buildup ahead of potential strikes against Iran.
The New York Times cited that imagery captured on Friday shows more than 60 attack aircraft parked at the base, known as Muwaffaq Salti, roughly tripling the number of jets that are normally there. And at least 68 cargo planes have landed at the base since Sunday, according to flight tracking data. More fighter jets could be parked under shelters.
The UN is extremely concerned about the buildup of military power in the Middle East. At a briefing on Friday, Stéphane Dujarric, the UN's spokesman urged both sides to continue engaging in diplomacy.
