Mekong Delta people look to 14th National Party Congress for new development momentum
(VOVWORLD) - People in the Mekong Delta, including the Khmer ethnic community, are hoping the 14th National Party Congress will open up new directions and create strong momentum for development in every locality.

“We hope that the Party and State will continue to adopt sound policies and pay close attention to ethnic minority and religious communities, especially in the field of education,” said Venerable Chau Soc Phi Rin of An Giang province.

Lam So Phiep of Can Tho city, a student currently studying in Ho Chi Minh City, said young people are very interested in the 14th National Party Congress. “We hope the Congress will create more education, employment, and entrepreneurship opportunities for young people, especially those from ethnic minority groups."
Huynh Van Nhon, a retired official in Can Tho city, said he hopes the 14th National Party Congress will enable Vietnam to rise and integrate further into the international community. “I also hope the Party will pay greater attention to social policies, especially in remote and disadvantaged areas.”
