According to Mr Chinh, who is the Council’s Chairman, multiple impactful emulation movements have been launched over the past five years. He cited a special campaign to fight the COVID-19 pandemic, a program that eliminated substandard housing five years and four months ahead of schedule, and the completion of key infrastructure projects like the 500kV transmission line from Quang Trach to Pho Noi and from Lao Cai to Vinh Yen.
With emulation movements going strong nationwide, PM Chinh called for more exemplary individuals and innovative models to inspire unity and progress.
“Many individuals who made extraordinary contributions during the COVID-19 response have yet to be recognized, and notable achievements in strategic infrastructure, social welfare, and cultural and scientific advancement must also be highlighted,” said Mr Chinh, adding, “The 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress should be held in a solemn and safe manner, with a long-lasting impact. Hanoi authorities must work closely with relevant agencies to ensure all facilities and logistics are ready for the event.”
